what’s up?

What have I been up to?

-Replacing my Cursive T-Shirt. I’ve had my Cursive shirt for, maybe, 2 years. It’s comfy and is worn, on average, 2+ times a week. For work, exercising, sleeping, cleaning, vacationing…..sm-disney_optn622423167_1549174_2066932pizza

Eating large pieces of pizza, taking funny double-chin pictures on Splash Mountain, holdin’ babies, the usual stuff….It’s a very versatile shirt. Anywhooo, after 2 years of washings, it was reaaaaallly thin. Bobby, being the nice gentleman he is, bought another one for me. However, it was a mens Medium. Slightly bigger than I like. So I bought myself another one in the correct size, and kept the big one for sleeping in. I now own 3 shirts that are EXACTLY the same.

-Working.

-Winning 3rd place at trivia night.

-Dressing up animals in a Poodle shirt:

-Eating a lot of pesto

That’s aboooot it!

3. Reading, and hating, the Luann comics…DAILY.280960full (a recent example of the hilarious comic strip) Yes, HILARIOUS!

I have been slackin’! Anyway, my days and weeks have not been too eventful (no trivia wins from the Christ Punchers in several weeks, bummer) but I’ll talk about this past weekend since it’s fresh in my mind grapes.

I got off super early on Friday after staying late several days during the week, so I went to the gym, sweat my buns off, then went home and got all gussied up in my Friday’s best:

Yes, I dared show off my calves and my farmer’s tan. Bobby & I went to eat at Tuck Shop, which is basically gourmet comfort foods where all the dishes are easily shared amongst 2 people. We had some delicious garlic clove with bread and some fish dish that left us empty, so on to their version of Mac & Cheese we went. Afterwards, I did another unusual thing and went to see a movie! It was “I Love You Man,” and it was actually pretty funny, but too long. It should be mentioned, however, that every movie is too long for me. Ho hum. After said movie, we made our way to SideBar and each had a glass of wine and went home. That place was dead, anyways. I fell asleep soundly around 9:30pm as usu.

Saturday roared it ugly head, and I woke up at 6am. Fell back asleep an hour later, of course. But back up in time to catch one episode of Saved by the Bell at the gym. It was the graduation one where Zack had to be in the dance performance of “Swan Pond” if anyone is interested. Then we got some pupusas, which I had been waiting for all week. Yummy, delectable pancakes of bean & cheese heaven. After that, we did the usual of Target browsing. Bobby got some white shirts & undies and I bought me a balance ball on clearance. It’s pretty cool. Our house is turning into a ladies gym like Shapes for Women or something. HarHar. Ended the night on a good note with grilled cheese.

Sunday was Mama’s day, so first we took Bobby’s mom & sister to Pei Wei for some Asian persuasion, and then we went by my mom’s where I ate some Tres Leche cake and smelled Bobby’s yucky sloppy joe’s. We peaced out once I saw I had a $10 gift card to American Eagle in my mail pile from my parent’s house. Since I’m not to buy clothes, I bought me some underoo’s as well. Then I had some crackers ‘n cheese (Brie and Port Wine/Cheddar Spread to be exact) for din-din since I skipped out on the sloppy joe’s.

And here I am! We are finally starting to get into the groove of both of us working again. Bobby makes the dinner while I’m at the gym and I do the rest of the chores during my lunch hour. Works out really well!

…and it’s almost 9pm, approaching my hour of power (sleep, that is).

And an ode to my RickRolln days of yore, enjoy!:
