Soooo, I think I figured out the one easy diet rule: HAVE YOUR BABY.

Soooo, I got sick. It was horrible. And didn’t work out for almost 2 weeks.

Soooo, I haven’t really worked out in the past 2 weeks. I’m going to attempt to start again tomorrow.

Soooo, I bought a wedding dress. It’s simple & it was affordable. And now is stored at my parents’ house.

Soooo, I went roller skating on Friday. I did pretty well until a blister began on my foot. I guess my roller skates need some extra padding.

Soooo, me & Bobby had breakfast at Morning Glory Cafe at the Farm on Saturday. Only 2 more Farm restaurants to visit before the wedding.

Soooo, this weekend we washed my car by hand. Even at 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday, this car wash place is uber creepy.

Soooo, we then proceeded to clean our place from top to bottom. OK, well more top to middle. We still have a little more to go.

Soooo, that’s it!

I am one week away…

…from eating Chicago-style deep dish pizza with my tenderoni!

To honor this special occasion, 2 weeks ago we purchased our first set of luggage…together. It a very serious decision to make together, but after searching several stores we finally bought some lovely Samsonites. The clincher was the fact I wanted a carry-on bag. Bobby found really nice ones at Ross that he wanted, 2 large pieces that were a very reasonable price, but we were not finding any carry-on bags. But, lo, in one of those aisle baskets I found one peeking out. It was meant to be.

….yeah, I just realized I’m telling a story about luggage. Total yawnfest.

Anywhooo, we bought some awesome tags from Gama Go:

Super cute!

On to other happenings.

Two weeks ago the Christ Punchers were victorious at Team Trivia. Yes, we finally got our comeuppance: FIRST PLACE (aka $35 gift certificate to Rose & Crown). A week later, were back at the bottom of the barrel. C’est la vie.

Yesterday was payday, so Bobby & I went out and had some lovely grilled cheeses at the Roosevelt and then met our fellow Christ Puncher at The Lost Leaf. Despite the grilled cheese, this morning I was 0.6 pounds away from my short term goal of 15 pounds lost. Feels so good, I’m also getting my comeuppance! Then we had La Tolteca for dinner, so I’m sure I screwed the pooch with that one. :)

I bought some new clothes today, as well. At Buffalo Exchange I found a pair of shorts that came with SUSPENDERS! $7. I’m gonna look like a newsie! And also bought a dress online:

Drool.

Bobby & his sister are watching Harry Potter & the Something of Something, and I’m just doing the house work. Yeah, I’d rather wash clothes than see that movie! :P

An Ode to Bobby’s love of Tears for Fears

No REALLY, is that Dave Coulier?

what’s up?

What have I been up to?

-Replacing my Cursive T-Shirt. I’ve had my Cursive shirt for, maybe, 2 years. It’s comfy and is worn, on average, 2+ times a week. For work, exercising, sleeping, cleaning, vacationing…..sm-disney_optn622423167_1549174_2066932pizza

Eating large pieces of pizza, taking funny double-chin pictures on Splash Mountain, holdin’ babies, the usual stuff….It’s a very versatile shirt. Anywhooo, after 2 years of washings, it was reaaaaallly thin. Bobby, being the nice gentleman he is, bought another one for me. However, it was a mens Medium. Slightly bigger than I like. So I bought myself another one in the correct size, and kept the big one for sleeping in. I now own 3 shirts that are EXACTLY the same.

-Working.

-Winning 3rd place at trivia night.

-Dressing up animals in a Poodle shirt:

dogpoodlecatpoodle

-Eating a lot of pesto

That’s aboooot it!

Recappin’, my captin

SO….last Tuesday didn’t really feel like a day off at all. I spent about 2 hours in the dentist chair cleaning half of my teeth. That’s right, only half. I need to go back in a few weeks to clean the other half and also get a filling (meaning I have to use my PTO…poppycock!). Yeah, my teeth are gross. Good news is I don’t need dentures! After the filling, I only need two crowns, and I’m set. Luckily for me, I have one of those pre-paid debit cards with $1000 on it (coming out of my paycheck little by little, of course) which basically pays for all of this. However, I was planning on getting braces with it this year, so that will have to wait till next year. Maybe by then I can save more money and get the Invisalign shtuff.

Sunday was nice. Bobby & I started out at La Grande Orange where we split a Commuter breakfast sammich. Then went to Target where I bought myself a cute little jacket on clearance for $20. We bought a strawberry plant, which I’m pretty excited to see how it works. We bought enough soap and cleaning stuff to last us for awhile, I hope. And also, in hopes of getting my teeth whiter, we bought Listerine Whitening Mouthwash. It better work because it tastes like poo-poo! Next week I’ll go back and get some whitening strips to try. I also saw a pretty nice set of pots & pans I would like to get with my paycheck as well, and for a good price too. Unfortunately, no nice food processors for cheap. :/

Afterwards, we went to the Apple Store to see if they had cases for the laptop, which they did for $50, so I politely walked out of the store without one. We headed over to Red Hot Robot & Frances just for kicks. I bought a cooooool little case that looks like a Hostess Cupcake and also a little bird for Bobby (which I think the cats will end up liking more than him). I was curious to see if the new Postino Central had opened up, so we passed it, saw it was open, I decided I was hungry, and in we went. It’s was meant to be because the soup of the day was Potato Cheddah. So we each had a soup and split a sammich yet again.

After lounging around the house for a bit, we went to Tempe Marketplace to try and find some nice shoes and a tie for Bobby’s big interview today (Monday). After finding those, we went to Target & Best Buy to try to find a food processor to no avail. We also went to Bath & Body Works where we got a new air diffuser thing for our room. The scent is supposed to be “Fresh Bamboo” but it just smells like flower petals or something. Good none-the-less.

At this point I was super cranky, so we went to the store and got some dinner stuff for Sunday & Monday. We had Ravioli with vodka sauce (YUMMY) and watched Religulous which was interrupted half-way when I showed Bobby this video:

And we LOL’ed.

I also decided I’m not eating any fast food for a year. By then, it will be out of my system and I will never eat it again.

Today I work late, but will try to go to the gym-gym while Bobby makes the din-din.

The End.

This AM

I was minding my own business, plucking my brows, and listening to the elephants that live upstairs walk around, when I heard, “MAROW.”

This was one of the cats, and it was one of their “I’m in distress” meows. That usually means they are stuck somewhere. But which one? And where?

When I woke up, I saw the aloof, yet motherly, Socrates in the living room. So I figured she somehow got trapped in the pantry when Bobby went to grab the dog leash. I decided to investigate. I checked in there, and no cat was found. Usually the sound of opening the panty summons both cats at an alarming speed, so when I turned around Socrates was there. But Beirut, the attention-seeking nose-biter, was nowhere to been seen.

The bathroom door was open, and she was not stuck in the toilet. I moved to the computer room, and she was not lounging in the chair like usual.

“MARRROW.”

Still distressing. I looked and the closet was closed. It normally is closed. But I opened it anyway. It was tough. Obviously something fell and made it difficult to pry open. But I managed, looked and saw nothing. Then as I was about to turn around, a black head popped out. I guess she got into the closet, knocked over several boxes of crap (which left the door almost closed), and upon trying to open the door, she completely shut the door. Considering Bobby went to bed around midnight, she was probably stuck in there for awhile. She didn’t relieve her bowels or nothing. What a trooper.

Then I went to Conspire and saw a cat pee on the wall.
